“Clinical Supervision Lecture”
Seminar Description:
If a clinician
makes
inappropriate interventions,
it is a clear sign that unidentified
feelings are at the heart of
the problem. It is the supervisor's
task to identify these
characterlogical problems as evidenced
in countertransferences and
bring these to the supervisee’s
awareness so that they do
not interfere with therapeutic
effectiveness.
Presenter:
Rick Parrott
Ph.D., LCSW, is a full-time
faculty in the Human Service
Technology Department at
Coleman College (HCCS) and
is in private practice.
Dr. Parrott is an approved
supervisor by the Texas
Department of State Health
Services and has presented at
several major conferences
and organizations both nationally and internationally.
