In an effort to prevent abuse of prescription medications and protect the environment, our Partnership for a Drug-Free Spring Branch is spearheading an initiative called "Operation Medicine Cabinet". We are developing partnerships with local retailers, law enforcement, and other community sectors to:

 

1. Educate the community about safe storage and disposal of prescription and over-the-counter medications,

2. Hold local prescription medication take-back events, and

3. Establish permanent drop-off sites to encourage residents to bring unused and expired medicines for proper disposal.
